My name is Youssef, and I’m from Alexandria, Egypt.
YY.Vintage started from something much bigger than the idea of simply opening a clothing store. Vintage has always been a personal passion of mine the history, the culture, the details, the stories behind each piece, and the feeling of owning something that cannot simply be found everywhere.
That passion became YY.Vintage in 2021.
Our main goal has never been only to sell clothes. We want to introduce and grow vintage culture in Egypt, educate people about vintage pieces, and build a community that understands the value behind what they wear.

Since we started, we have sold 600+ pieces to our customers.
Every sale represents more than a transaction to us. It represents someone choosing a piece that we carefully searched for, selected, and believed was worth adding to our collection.
We are also proud to have maintained zero negative feedback from our customers.
Trust is one of the most important things we have built, and we believe that honesty should always come before a sale.
No Ordinary Stock
Unlike traditional clothing stores, we do not rely on regular suppliers or mass-produced stock.
Our pieces are personally sourced by us, without depending on external suppliers.
Every season whether Winter or Summer one person travels through East Asia searching for rare, distinctive, and authentic vintage pieces.
We look for pieces that are difficult to find, pieces with character, history, unique designs, and most importantly, pieces that deserve to be part of the YY.Vintage collection.
One Piece. One Owner.
Most of our stock consists of single pieces.
That means when you find something at YY.Vintage, you usually won’t find the exact same piece in another size or another version waiting behind it.
Our goal is to find pieces that make their owner feel like they discovered something that was meant for them.
In many cases, that means one person in Egypt gets the chance to own that specific piece.
100% Authenticity
Authenticity is non-negotiable at YY.Vintage.
All products listed as authentic on our store are 100% original.
Before identifying a piece as authentic, we carefully examine details such as the materials, tags, construction, references, archived information, and available historical sources.
And if there is ever a piece whose authenticity we cannot confidently verify, we make that clear to the customer before the purchase.
We would rather lose a sale than lose a customer’s trust.
Built Without Direct Competition
YY.Vintage was created with a different vision from the traditional Egyptian clothing market.
Our focus is not to compete with local stores selling similar products. Our benchmark is the global vintage market, while our mission is to build something unique within Egypt and eventually across the Arab world.
We believe there is an opportunity to create a new standard for curated vintage in the region based on authenticity, rarity, transparency, and culture.
What’s Next?
YY.Vintage started in Alexandria in 2021 with a passion for vintage.
Our next goal is much bigger:
To become the biggest and most trusted vintage store in Egypt and the Arab world.
But we don’t want to build just a bigger store.
We want to build a vintage culture.
A community that understands why a piece from decades ago can be more meaningful than something produced yesterday.
A place where rare clothing is not treated as just clothing but as history, culture, design, and individuality.
